Critical Links Relocates Global Headquarters to US and Expands Executive Team

Critical Links to provide edgeBOX, a single multi-function device that consolidates data, voice and IT services, to US market

FAIRFIELD, NJ, January 22, 2008– Critical Links, a provider of converged ICT solutions today announced the relocation of its global headquarters to the US and the expansion of its executive team including the additions of Abdul Kasim, vice president of global marketing and business development and Robert Muhaw, vice president of global sales and operations.

Critical Links, founded in 2006 in Portugal as a spin-off from a successful software company, is the developer of edgeBOX, an office-in-a-box appliance that provides a complete voice, data and IT solution in a single device for SMBs (Small to Medium Businesses) and enterprise branch offices.

“Late last year, Critical Links secured 5.7 million dollars in venture capital. The new executive team members join the CEO and CFO in place. Abdul Kasim is vice president of global marketing and business development at Critical Links where he oversees all worldwide marketing and partnership activities. Abdul was previously VP of marketing and business development at ADVA Optical Networking and is a co-author of “Delivering Carrier Ethernet”, published by McGraw-Hill, the first book addressing the deployment of ethernet in service provider networks. Abdul holds a graduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Robert Muhaw is vice president of global sales and operations of Critical Links with the responsibility for growing worldwide sales and operations. Bob has 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with executive management experience in both worldwide sales and customer services. Prior to joining Critical Links, Bob was Vice President of Worldwide Sales at NetTest. In addition to his NetTest tenure, Bob also served in senior sales and service management roles within Digitial Lightwave and Telesciences. Bob received his Masters degree from University of Maryland, and a Bachelor degree from Rowan University.
