Critical Links and iLearnabout Join Forces to Expand Access to Educational Content in Africa
New collaboration brings access to world-class digital conservation and environment educational content to remote schools across the continent.
Princeton, NJ, USA – September 10, 2024 – Critical Links, the leader in micro-cloud e-learning solutions, is pleased to announce a strategic collaboration with iLearnabout, a project of the UK-based NGO iAfrica Foundation. This effort will initially bring unique, interactive e-learning materials focused on environmental conservation to schools across Africa through the Critical Links C3 Cloud Control platform. Notably, the content will be available for any customer using the C3 Micro-Cloud, allowing them to access the iLearnabout educational resources even in off-line environments.
One of the key aspects of this collaboration is that iLearnabout offers e-learning materials on environmental conservation in light of the current realities faced on on the African continent. These resources address a critical gap in educational materials for children and teachers in Africa, particularly during this pivotal time of the climate crisis. Integrating this content into the C3 Cloud Control platform not only enriches Critical Links’ offerings but also ensures that high-quality environmental education is accessible to a larger number of schools and students, especially in remote regions.
Based on the Sustainable Development Goals, curricula, and environmental conservation feedback, iLearnabout’s content is organized into six key themes consisting of 25 topics. Each topic comprises three comprehensive modules, accompanied by various practical activities. Topics currently available include Biodiversity, Wildlife Conservation, Water and Livelihoods, Soil, and Climate Change.
